Dating in Asia
I have not posted in a while due to a holiday in Asia, Thailand and Laos specifically. Dating in Asia is a very different scene then in most Western countries. It was unbelievably easy.
I am no expert on the social and economic situation as I was just a tourist. People talk a considerable amount about the sex worker scene etc. in Thailand, however I was not there for that and I am unwilling to directly pay for sex. We all indirectly pay most of the time, in one way or another. Marriage has been compared to legalized and institutionalized prostitution. I don’t specifically agree with this comment but I do understand how some people come to that conclusion. However most of the time to use generalities the man pays for the drinks, the meals, the gifts, etc. It was no different in Bangkok except it was an amazing amount cheaper. A cocktail in a nice club was about 5 dollars. In a roadside dive you can have a beer for a $1.50.
Dating in Thailand
So what is dating in Thailand like? This does not include pay for service and I saw plenty of men with much younger women then themselves that I would think were probably a business arrangement more then anything else. Actual dating however was incredibly easy, very nice well educated women were happy to talk to us and more then willing to spend time with us and some of them are a considerable amount more liberal then their western counterparts. Possibly the religious difference in society and the lack of original sin, I don’t know I am not the expert I just know I spent alot of time with beautiful women.
Let me explain a little more on where we were, I have a good friend in Bangkok who has been there for a number of years, when we first arrived he asked what we want, instant gratification if we were willing to pay, or meet some nice girls that might be willing to go with us. I always opt for the non prostitutes since I can meet women and have sex whenever I want and do not need to go down that road, if I strike out it’s not the end of the world and tomorrow is a new day.
So he took us to a chamber of commerce meeting of all places. Sounds like a strange place to pick up women doesn’t it? Well let me tell you there was about 25 very attractive women there, if you have a liking for Asian girls. All of them were well dressed and most spoke good English. The best part, they were happy to talk to us and mostly approached us. The scene was different then I am use to as all the men were dressed well and we were in a hotel conference room. All of the women I spoke to that turned out to be single were happy to give me their number and and two of them came out with us that night after the do was over.

In Bangkok the girls there are looking for successful men and westerners are a prime pick it seems like. If you are reasonably good looking, not talking Brad Pitt here, you will score regularly with some incredibly fit and attractive women, your not even going to have to work hard at it. Just be friendly and the women approach you.
Dating Asian girls that don’t speak English
The language barrier is not even a bad thing since they are willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, if you smile and joke you seem to be in. Take the girl to a nice club and dinner and your odds of getting her back to your room are drastically increased over a similar situation in our home countries. Most women I met actually spoke pretty decent English and they were always willing to try if they didn’t, besides speaking wasn’t really my reason for being there. I am told that when you get farther out of the business districts and tourist areas that there is very little English spoken and things get much more difficult.
Where we were however there was a huge number of attractive available women and I would highly recommend it as a holiday spot or if you can figure out a way, a great place to live and work.
Note here, I saw many men in there later years with very young attractive women with them. Many were married or had been with the women for a long time. The young women were doting and affectionate to them in a way you don’t see in the West. Some of the age gaps you would of had to of been a rock start to manage in the USA.
